Our Story

Humble Beginnings

Kia ora koutou, 

I'm Chelsea the (hidden) face behind Chelsea's planners. Welcome to my world of organised chaos. I am incredibly passionate about creating something beautiful and functional, to meet the diverse needs of teaching in the 22nd century.

From a “small” holiday project to help a couple of teachers out, to an out cry of teachers wanting something colourful, fun and tailored made for them. Everything starts from humble beginnings, and this is mine.

I am a full-time primary school teacher in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. I collaboratively teach a beautiful group of year 5 students in a Modern Learning Environment (MLE). I recognise the ever growing demands of teaching and have lived the personal struggle with traditional planners. The way we teach has changed, yet the resources available haven't.

This is my journey to embrace and enhance our New Zealand culture and support teachers to teach our next generation.
